Schedule a hitting workshop at your location with Coach Gary Long, the Rope Bat® Founder!
Coach Long is ready to share his passion and the knowledge he’s acquired over the last 45 years of teaching hitting to players ages 5 to 55 and to coaches of all levels.
He is available to travel to your location for hitting clinics, team instruction, coaches’ instruction, conventions or a custom workshop to best serve your needs.
Details
Coach Long will share his methods of teaching in an interactive setting that gives players and coaches a new understanding of hitting and simplifies the teaching and learning of a good swing.
He will break down the stance, the load, the stride and the swing, using a common sense approach to achieve a strong, powerful and connected swing.
Coach Long will explain how the Rope Bat® works and why it is such a good tool to accelerate the learning of a good swing with the real bat. He will demonstrate how the hitter can use the Rope Bat® to teach themselves, which gives them true authentic learning with instant feedback.
Sessions will be interactive and will teach specific drills that address and fix specific hitting problems. Coach Long encourages questions and dialogue while teaching to expand on learning.
Costs
Coach Long is excited to give back to the baseball and softball community, and workshop prices are designed to be affordable.
The client will be responsible for all travel expenses from Austin, TX and a $60 per hour fee for teaching time. Actual costs will vary depending on the location.
